The CANAL Lab is located in the Visual Simulation Building room 2201, we share lab space with the L-NEURO lab headed by Olessia Jouravlev, at Carleton University. We study the interaction of cognitive reserve (lifestyle factors), and contextual factors (e.g., time of day, caffeine, and mood) on cognitive performance in older adults. Our goal is to describe the complex set of circumstances that lead to optimal cognitive performance in older age.
