An unofficial transcript
A current curriculum vitae (CV)
A brief introductory email and a one to two-page proposal of what you would like to work on in the CANAL lab. Hint, if you pick an extension of something one of my current graduate students is already working on, this makes your work far more feasible and more likely to be considered.
If you are invited to an interview, we will ask you to install FSL and do some basic preprocessing of a small neuroimaging dataset.
Your email should contain the words "CANAL lab undergraduate application."
We will start evaluating applications each year in January. We will take at least two undergraduate thesis students.
Students and fellows in the Lab are encouraged to seek out sources of external funding:
Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) fellowships for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) research awards for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
National Science and Engineering Council of Canada (NSERC) research awards for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
